Forest Feast

While last in-world, I explored on a SIM called Forest Feast. Such a beautiful place. The scenery of flower meadows, trees, mountains and streams is exactly the kind of places I like!

Mirromere

One of my favorite things to do while I’m in SL is to find a new place to visit and explore. I will usually look at pictures that others have put up on Flickr and am able to find a place that looks interesting. I love it when the person who posts the picture also adds the slurl so that others can visit the SIM themselves. I always try to post a slurl.

I visited a SIM called Mirromere….and what a beautiful place it is!

Delicatessen

I’m really loving all the places within SL that have all the winter scenes – the snow, frozen lakes for ice skating,…not to mention all the penguins! 🙂  I went to this place to pick up the cutest elf avatar….and discovered a virtual winter wonderland! Of course, I had to stick around…play in the snow a bit…and take some pictures to share.

Prelude/Symphony/Harmony

After seeing a picture on flickr from the Prelude SIM, I decided to make a visit and check this place out for myself. I started exploring and noticed that I had gone to 3 different SIMs that are very close together. Here are a few of the pictures I took …and I hope that I am identifying them correctly. I have included the slurls in case anyone is interested in visiting these beautiful places:

I think I have decided to use this picture  for my flickr group (365 days). It was taken at Prelude.

Cu Mara

 

I put on my boots and one of my favorite warm coats and headed out for “cold country.”  I have seen many pictures of  Cu Mara, but needed to visit and explore  it for myself. It is truly a winter wonderland! Here I am posing beside the very famous snowman (who must be the most photographed snowman in all SL!)  🙂
